Regina has over 20 years of experience in the non-profit and public sector. Regina has directed the strategic vision, program design and development, execution and growth of the place-based entrepreneurship's flagship programs: SWOT City and Retail Services. Regina has a successful track record of creating economic growth. Since joining TechTown in 2013, Campbell has scaled place-based acceleration and incubation, worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs, assisted with the launch of multiple Detroit startups and has served as Detroit Entrepreneur Week (DEW) committee chair since the program’s launch 2012.
Before coming to TechTown, Regina was the Senior Project Manager of Economic Development at the Vanguard Community Development Corporation. Launching a business incubator in Detroit’s North End to support entrepreneurs with resources, technical assistance, façade improvement and holiday market pop-up for sales and testing products. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University, a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Regina’s expertise include economic development, vision/strategy, strategic execution, business and organizational performance. Regina is a budding entrepreneur in the edutainment industry and was a Wayne State University Detroit Revitalization Fellow, Leadership Detroit Class of XXXVII, and Aspen Scholar 2016. She is also a graduate of Inforum Michigan’s InGAGE entrepreneurial program.
